These self-assessment resources help to encourage deeper learning with students and assess how well they have understood their learning. There are TEN sheets of SA, easy to print off, can be stuck in by students themselves or copied and pasted directly onto the worksheet saving time. Self-assessments are easily adapted allowing them to be personlised. Can be used across the different primary key stages.

There are three styles of assessment.
• The first is a self-assessment line - within this there are three different assessment lines allowing children to assess their work at different parts of the lesson, they can add a comment and the teacher can also add a comment allowing pupil/teacher dialogue. They can assess against SC, WALT, Lesson content…
• The second is a self-assessment personal target line -within this there are three different assessment lines. The child may select their own target or the teacher can select a target for the child. This allows children to assess their target at different parts of the lesson, they can add a comment and the teacher can also add a comment allowing pupil, teacher’s dialogue.
• The third is a self-assessment timeline – this target can be used for children who are easily distracted. It can encourage the individual to refer to the assessment timeline and stay focused. Within this there are three different assessment lines, allowing children to assess their work at different parts of the lesson and encouraging them to stay focused on the task. The individual can add a comment and the teacher can also add a comment, allowing pupil-teacher dialogue. This allows children to assess themselves at different parts of the lesson, they can add a comment/NS and the teacher can also add a comment allowing pupil, teacher’s dialogue.
